Randall Colgan' Charger

Back Up Next

This is the story of the Charger that is proudly owned by Randall Colgan. He send me in this story. Very nice style of writing Randall. Thank you very much for submitting this story.

Hi there! I am a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T built in St. Louis, MO on June 1, 1970. The previous owner didn't want to fix me up so he sold me to my present owner on December 23, 2001. This made my present owner very happy because he was looking for me for quite some time. He treats me right and promises to take good care of me. I was originally born with an F4 green coat. I think my owner plans on getting a new coat for me but I am not too crazy for that color. He wants to cover me with sub-lime green. I'm sure it will grow on me however. I have a 440ci power plant that was transplanted back in 1994 from a 1972 Dodge truck. Power is transferred to the rear diff via a 727 HD automatic with a console shifter. I am starting to show my age as I have a few rust holes developing in my right front fender. Both of my rear quarters are also developing the same symptoms. I will need a lower dash transplant as one of my previous owner cut holes in it to accommodate a couple of gages. I was built for inventory for some dealership in Canada. I have the typical features you would find on a model like me such as 3 speed variable wiper, hood mounted turn signal indicators, remote drivers mirror, music master AM radio, light package, basic group, power assist disc brakes and bucket seats. I know my present owner plans on renewing a lot of things on my that I have simply worn out. I'm happy in my new home.
