Head Restraints (Optional): Padded Head Restraints for the front seat reduce the risk of whiplash injury. The head restraint is a low inches to the rear of the head for clearance of hats and hair-do's, and is adjustable vertically (except on bucket seats). The upper edge should be located at the level of the ears.

Comfort Position Bucket Seat Adjuster (Optional): A six-way manual adjustment, for the driver's seat, is available as optional equipment. It allows the driver to adjust in the conventional forward and backward directions, plus providing a second release that permits the seat to be adjusted vertically and/or tilled.

The seat should be adjusted to a comfortable position before the belts are fastened and the car is operated.

Inside Day/Nite Mirror: Annoying headlight glare can be reduced by moving the small control at the lower edge of the mirror to the night position. The mirror should be adjusted while set in the day position to center on the view through the rear window. The unique mounting permits an adjustment of almost 180° in any direction. The mirror will pilot forward, backward or side ways from the upper ball joint and turn tilt from the lower. The safety action arm also allows the mirror to deflect out of the way if struck.

Outside Mirror: To receive maximum benefit, adjust the outside mirror to center on the adjacent lane of traffic with a slight overlap of the view obtained in the inside mirror.

The habit of regularly scanning both mirrors maintains constant alertness to the surrounding traffic situation. A right side mirror is available from your dealer.

Remote-Control Outside Mirror (Optional): Mirror can be adjusted from the driver's seat by a control located on the door.

Seat belts

To Adjust Size: To lengthen belt to fit you, turn the buckle perpendicular to the belt and pull to desired length. To shorten, pull loose end of belt.

To Fasten: Make sure the belts are not twisted. Push tongue end all the way into the buckle. Tighten by pulling the loose end away from the buckle. WHEN TIGHTENING . BE SURE BELT IS RUN ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE RETRACTOR.

To Unfasten: Un fasten the belt by pulling up on the hinge plate which forms the face of the buckle.
