3. Fan Switch: Has three positions, Low, Medium and High speed-push in to medium and high positions. Use when operating either Air Conditioner or Heater. 4. Cooling Outlets: One at each end of and two in the center of instrument panel. Directs air conditioned air to any desired area - Adjustable left and right, up or down - Outer outlets can be shut off independently by controls under the panel. 5. Floor Air Controls: Cool air can be directed on the feet of driver and passenger by moving either of two controls mounted on air conditioning housing under the instrument panel. Controls are market "Floor Air". Notes: If car has been parked in the sun, drive for a few minutes with the windows open to expel warm air. Air Conditioned cars must be protect, with permanent-type antifreeze to +15°F, or lower, during summer to prevent heater core from freezing.
Window Fogging: The Air Conditioner can be used to avoid interior fogging of the windows in mild weather when the humidity is high. At temperatures above 50°F you may wish to operate the Air Conditioner continuously to eliminate fogging of all windows in the car.
"Cool Aire" Air Conditioning (Dealer Installed): Blower speed control and temperature lever are conveniently located at the end of the unit. Passengers can direct cooled air in any desired direction. Before operating, start engine and open windows to expel hot air.
