To Accelerate For Passing: Depress the accelerator as you would normally. When pedal the pedal is released your car will return to the set speed. Warning: The use of your Auto Speed Control is not recommended when driving on roads that are icy, snow covered or slippery.
RadioPush Button AM Radio (Optional): To operate the radio, the ignition switch may be in either the "on" or the "accessory" positions. Tumbwheel "A" turns on the radio and controls volume. Stations are selected by the push buttons or tumbwheel "B". Tumbwheel "C" allows you to adjust the tonal quality (bass or treble). For best reception, adjust the antenna height to 40".
Push Button AM Radio Note: Radios designed for Chrysler Corporation automobiles are identified by the name on either the radio dial or the control panel. To Set Push-Buttons: Allow radio to warm up for at least 10 minutes with antenna extended to recommended height. Pull "push-button" all the way out and, using manual tuning knob, carefully tune in a disered station. Press button firmly in to lock station. This same procedure is used for setting the remaining buttons. FM/AM Radio (Optional): The FM/AM all transistor radio will provide all of the enjoyment of AM plus the unique listening satisfaction of FM. However, the high frequency transmission that enhances the quality of FM reproduction also tends to shorten it's range (approximately 35 miles) and may cause an intermittent blanking effect in fringe areas. In areas where reception is poor, motor noise from your car and passing vehicles will be present. The operating controls consists of four tumbwheels.
Push buttons may be set for either FM or AM stations. The FM/AM band indications appears on the radio dial. Note: For best FM reception adjust antenna height to 31"; adjust to 40" for AM reception.
