Power Windows (Optional): The master control on the left front door has four rocker switches that give you finger-tip control of all four windows. There are single opening and closing switches at each of the other three windows.

The ignition switch must be in the "on" or "accessory" postition to operate windows.

Power Window Safety Switch (Dealer-Installed): A power window safety switch mounted under the instrument panel is available as an additional override. This switch will disconnect the power to all window switches except the driver's, thus discouraging play by small childeren when the car is in motion.

Windshield Wipers: To operate the two speed windshield wiper, push rocker switch in to select desired speed. A three-speed wiper is optional.

Windshield Washers: Push windshield washer button in to spray fluid on the windshield. Button is next to wiper switch. Fluid will spray as long as the button is held in, enabling you to use just the amount needed for a good cleaning job.

During cold weather, two precautions are recommended: use a windshield washer solution containing an antifreeze especially designed for this use and, if the car interior is cold, operate the defroster for a few minutes to reduce the possibility of smearing or freezing the fluid on the cold windshield. Chrysler All Weather Windshield Washer Solution used with water, as directed on the container, aids cleaning action, reduces freezing point to avoid line clogging and is not harmful to paint or trim. The container, in the engine compartment, should be checked for fluid level at regular intervals.

Self-Adjusting Brakes: (not available with 426ci engine) -This feature eliminates manual adjustment of your brakes. A few brake padel applications during "reverse" driving will maintain your brakes at the specified adjustment. Adjustment will continue until the brake lining is worn away. To avoid poor braking, brake pull, or damage to brake drums, the brake linings should be inspected at 12,000 miles.

Winter Braking: When traction between the tires and the road is reduced, due to wet, snow covered or icy pavements, the wheels may skid and the car cannot be readily brought to a stop by conventional braking techniques. When a skid occurs, remove your foot from the brake pedal and stop the car by pumping the brake pedal with short rapid jabs. With each jab the brake must be fully applied and fully released for greatest effect.
