Inside Door Locks: Pressing the inside buttons down to lock doors is an excellent safety precaution. When locked from the inside, the door cannot be opened by an intruder nor is it likely to open as the result of an impact on the outside release button. Two seperate operations are required to open the passenger's door once it is locked. First, the push button must be raised and then the inside door handle can be pulled. This reduces the risk of the doors being opened accidentally while the car is in motion. Caution: Always try to park your car in a well lighted area and lock it, even in your own driveway. Vent Window Control: Vent windows should be opened to about a 45° angle for most efficient ventilation.
