James Andrews' Charger

Back Up Next

240re.jpg (36769 bytes)It's 1970 Dodge Charger, I think it is a beautiful car, and a lot of work was spend on making it look like it does now. It is a 1970 Dodge Charger with a factory sunroof, power windows, a 440 engine with 727 transmission. It has 3.91 gears and nitrous oxide (only a Power Shot kit).  Some people think he should restore to its original, but James says it is his car and is making it the way he likes it.

How did he get it:

Looking for a car for his wife, he followed a rumor about this car in a barn. It took 3 months to find the owner to strike a deal. The car was completely dismantled and some of the parts were missing (engine, transmission, rear, etc.). It still needs a lot of work, like the interior, and some minor body work. But it runs strong. His wife still jokes (He hopes) about it being her car. She drives it, but doesn't like how it slows down when releases the gas pedal.
