1969 Dodge Charger

Though this is my favorite year, the other years are not less spectacular. This is my favorite because of the split grill and the very nice taillights. This car became famous, because of the Dukes of Hazzard. This serie which played from 1979 until it stopped in 1985. There were 229 1968-1970 Dodge Chargers crushed/smacked into the ground during the series. In the serie they say they used only 1969 Dodge Chargers, named the General Lee, but in fact there were also used a lot of 1968 and 1970 Dodge Chargers, they can be recognized very clearly by the side marker reflectors, which are with the 1968 round and with the 1970 larger than the 1969. I really liked the serie, but I think it was a shame of all the cars were crushed during the series. Because I think they had better given them to me, instead of smashing them into the ground. About the Charger of 1969 is known the most, if you look at the 1968 and 1970 Chargers, then its hard to find some good information, and if you're looking for information on the 1969 Dodge Charger, about 8 of the 10 Charger sites, is about the 1969. So it didn't take long before I found all the information I needed. Hope you like it.

New for 1969:

	New grille, taillights, and interior trim.
	New optional S.E. Decor Group. This includes leather and vinyl front bucket seats, wood-grain steering wheel, wood-grain inserts in the instrument panel, hood-mounted turn indicators, pedal dress-up, deep-dish wheel covers, and the light package.
	New, optional manual Tilt Feature on the driver's seat. The driver's bucket seat has many different positions, fore and aft, up and down, and tilt. It can be adjusted vertically a total of 1 1/2". A spring action counterbalances a 160-pound person, thus minimizing the manual effort required to adjust the seat up and down.
	Repositioned door lock button. The button has been made easy to reach by both front and rear-seat occupants by moving farther to the door.
	Improved automatic brake adjusters eliminate over-adjustment.
	Improved Sure-Grip differential. Provides improved traction particularly under low torque conditions.
	New optional roller-type power steering pump develops far greater pressures for much easier turning and parking.
	Headlight on warning buzzer which sounds when if the door is opened when the headlights or parking brakes are on.
	New, large side marker reflectors.
